Flavia and Alex attended NetSci 2026 in Boston from June 1–5, 2026, a special edition celebrating the conference’s 20th anniversary.
Alex delivered an oral presentation of “Community Detection for Directed Graphs Reveals Interdisciplinarity in Computer Science” at the main conference and presented “Bicommunities of the Directed Human Connectome” at the Network Neuroscience satellite.
Flavia presented the poster “Brain-Activity Flow on Brain Networks Uncovered by Topological Signal Processing” both at the main conference and at the Network Neuroscience satellite, where her work was recognized with the Best Poster Award! She also gave an oral presentation at the Women in Neuroscience satellite.
The conference offered a stimulating mix of novel theoretical approaches for networked data and retrospectives on what has shaped the field of network science.
