On August 22, Sélima Zahar, PhD student at the EPFL and jointly with Nestlé Research, where she is supervised by Julie Hudry-Labbe, successfully defended her PhD on developing and applying fNIRS for nutrition neuroscience. The PhD committee was presided over by Prof. Mahsa Shoaran, external committee members were Prof. Ian Macdonald (University of Nottingham) and Prof. Martin Wolf (University of Zürich), and the internal committee member was Prof. Michael Herzog.
