CIBM celebrates 20th anniversary!
On November 7, 2024, the CIBM Center for Biomedical Imaging had its Annual Symposium 2024 that marked its 20th Anniversary. The symposium offered a full day of dynamic discussions, groundbreaking presentations, and interactive sessions, celebrating two decades of excellence and innovation in biomedical imaging. Keynote speakers included Peter Bandettini and Denis Le Bihan.

Maria Giulia Preti is presenting the latest work on graph signal processing for neuroimaging to quantify structure-function relationships at BrainModes 2024 that takes place in Bilbao, November 18-21.
Mi Xue Tan successfully defended her PhD
On November 13, Mi Xue Tan, PhD student at the UNIGE supervised by Patrik Vuilleumier, Joana Santos Leitao, and Dimitri Van De Ville, successfully defended her PhD entitled “Dissecting Componential Emotion Representations Through a Video Game Paradigm”. The public PhD defense is planned on Wednesday December 18, 14h, at Campus Biotech.
